My Experience With Depression

May is mental health awareness month. I was not going to speak on this topic because I did an interview last year and it was a very good interview and, I thought I said all that was needed to be said I was very vulnerable.  I wasn't really feeling like going that deep again but, when God wakes you up in the middle of the night and tells you, it's time to share again, well, here I am again going deep. Self Care

I recently had the pleasure of talking to a very wise woman about self-care. I told her I was having a hard time believing I even deserved it, because I thought it might be selfish.  I, like most women can think of a million other things to do before I do something for myself. If I were even asked the question what would I do if I could do anything I wanted for myself for one hour in the day I probably couldn't answer the question.
