Who Are You?

Allow me to introduce myself to some, and reintroduce to others. I am Cynthia Lombard, child of God, wife, mother, friend, mentor, college graduate, author, blogger, and inspirational speaker. I AM…

The words I AM are two of the most powerful words that will come out of your mouth, because the words that come after define who you think you are and what you become. It can be positive or negative, if you say you are ugly, stupid, fat, unworthy, or broke that is what you become. on the other hand when you speak life to yourself you began to see yourself as the light God created you to be and able to spread life to those in your circle. The Bible says life and death are in the power of the tongue. With that said, we must make sure what we say about ourselves line[...]

Joy

How many of us have heard, or read the Scripture, "The Joy of the Lord is my strength" I have heard it, read it, and said it all my life. However, I didn't understand what it meant until I was an adult. I guess we sometimes don't understand things until we go through some things. I always wondered why we were supposed to be joyful while going through the fire. Who wants to be joyful while in the fire, nobody. The fire is often a painful place a place we usually can't wait to get out of, we want whatever lesson that needs to be learned to be taught quickly unfortun[...]

Trust

The Lord gave me a word for 2018, Trust: The firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.  I  was not surprised, because he had been dealing with me regarding trust at the end of 2017.  In November, my family suffered a horrible loss, and a couple of weeks later my husband got very ill and had to be hospitalized. My faith was challenged, and it was a very stressful time for my family. Therefore I was having a hard time trusting God.
